Fassbender is again excellent and unlike most spy dramas, he’s actually quite believable
I liked: Cher/Keira Knightley/Michael Fassbender/Josh Brolin/Jalen Ngonda in Graham Norton (2024). I don’t understand all the negativity in the reviews, yes the pacing isn’t in Bourne territory but it’s suspenseful, wonderfully acted and will keep your attention. I haven’t seen the French original before, so excuse me if I don’t compare, but it would be a shame if any negative comparisons hindered any enjoyment.
Please don’t let any negativity stop you from watching, it’s worth your time
Maybe the pacing concerns come from the binge-watching culture, it’s probably slow if you want to watch multiple episodes at once, but I honestly don’t see a problem with that.
