The life of a young glassblower in training and his relationships over many years, while his land experiences war and strife. This is the first Pakistani animated film. This film was created for 10 years, and it paid off to a great extent. The setting is a mixture of Indian and European culture, which is evident from the names of the characters, clothes, food and much more. The art style is obviously inspired by Studio Ghibli, but it’s unique enough to have its own personality. The animation during the military walls is especially exciting, as the lighting and colors during the explosions are especially beautiful. The voice acting is the weakest aspect (I watched it in English, but Urdu had the same problem), but I expected that from the trailers, but it wasn’t that terrible.
