Authors of terribly negative reviews about this exciting series are entitled to their opinion. However, they seem to be driven by a specific agenda and too focused on the minutiae. For example, how realistic is Lisle de Oliveira’s retreat sequence? Many negative critics claim to have direct experience with the subject. Well, me too. While Lioness may contain enough technical errors to not qualify as an operational documentary, there are so many details that it gets right – some of it striking – that it’s head and shoulders above most programs it could be compared to. For example, I myself switched to Lioness after I started watching Heart of Stone. Normally I love Gal Gadot, but I wanted to see something with a little more red meat. The lioness manages, and how! From the action and plot to the lovable characters embodied by a truly stellar cast, it’s all highly addictive!
